It started with a sketch on an envelope during my first pregnancy. Creativity exploded! I painted and sketched on anything I could find at the moment - everything from receipts to baking paper. Years later, those little figures became the basis for my first collection: The Heart of Esperanza.
After my second child, I literally woke up in the middle of the night with an idea. The result? A new technique I call Objects In A String – abstract acrylic paintings with an unexpected twist.
Today, I like to mix colors, textures and feelings painting with my fingers and knives (the painter's version, that is). And when I'm not painting, I play with colors, shapes and typeface as a graphic designer – my second creative home.
Everything I do is about letting the inner self bubble out – preferably with a pinch of playfulness, freedom and a lot of color.
